First PPF of 2013

Our neighbor had me come and photograph a little fishing boat that was moored across the River from her and I thought it would make a cute card so I did this today.
The scan faded it out some.
I also have a new Oil Painting started but have been so busy the last couple weeks I haven't had time to work on it but hope to get onto it soon. To see some of why we were so busy check the post before this one.
I am hooking up to  PPF this week after missing a couple weeks.
HAPPY PAINT PARTY FRIDAY
AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR

  9. I love your ideas. . . . of course this is a great card. I love that you live on the river . . . still trying to find my yellow cottage on the water. Blessings, Janet, PPF

  10. What a lovely painting-- there's definitely a story there with that boat. Maybe a Humphrey Bogart character on the run, hiding out in the bushes somewhere? Happy New Year and PPF!

  13. Now...if we could take that boat out, along with some paints, and find a quiet spot to drop anchor and paint...wouldn't that be heavenly?

  14. I love this one Cris. Such an idylic scene! I want to be in that boat, some fine prince pushing off, with me laying back on a pillow in the fore, drifting, feeling the warm sun on my face, and feeling the ripples of water underneath, perhaps with one hand lazily over the side fingertips skirting the cool water.
See what your art conveys! That is some GOOD ART! ;-)) HPPF!

  15. What a beautiful scene -- it looks like spring on this gray January day. I love the viewpoint as if coming in from the water or floating in like a shore bird :)

  20. I love it.......following you. I like the simple picture it presents, done very well. It should be framed. I find that if it fades in the scan, if you put it through photobucket or something like that you can get the colour back.

  24. Cris, this is truly beautiful and meaningful to me. *My Chris* - (aka my *Ex*) is a rower and rowboats have been a lovely part of our past - and perhaps will play a part in our future.

I love the soft, gentle colours...it IS a harbinger of Spring!

Love to you and ALL...(this includes the *Menagerie*)!

I am off to NY on Tuesday to spend a few days with Chris and Bofie..... but am sending you a few photos of the Stow Lake Muscovies I saw yesterday!

    Love,

    ♥ Robin ♥
