Video taken with iPad of chicks today and Con raking.

The chicks are 6 1/2 weeks old and I let them out of their cage to run around the sunroom or the dog run every day some. Lexy pecks at them so we cant trust them with the big girls yet.  I still havent figure out the laptop to down load pix yet...so I used my iPad to get this video so you all could see how big they are.

  1. Enjoyed the video Cris. Looks familiar as we have lots of raking to do and chickens/birds to feed. Thanks.

    1. Fall means work around here.. but I love the trees so I guess we will keep doing it as long as we can. I am hoping I can get the big chickens and little ones to co habit together soon. Its worrying me some.

  3. Love the peeping, love the sound of Con raking leaves...love how the *Chicklets* run around in tandem.....while outside of their cage...Lexy (?) peers in at them! And....of course, love Annie amid the leaves! Gosh...I feel completely *at home* in your back yard! A-ha-ha!

    Love,

    1. Thanks Robin..glad you feel at home. :) Wanna come and rake?? LOL The two chicks are best friends. Love watching them together. Yes that was Lexy and she is being a brat.. she wants to peck them big time. the barred rocks are more gentle. so I think Lexy is the Head of the pack.
